Kale Smoothie

  • 2 handfuls of Kale (trimmed)
  • 1 sweet apple (Fuji)
  • juice from 1/2 of small lemon
  • 1 small celery stalk (optional)/li>
  • 1/2 frozen banana (optional)
  • 1/2 C rice milk

Tip: Using a frozen banana makes the shake thicker which lessens the need for ice.  Also, it does a great job at masking the flavor of the Kale!

Blend it up! Enjoy immediately.
