NEW PATIENTS

Our goalfirst and foremost – is to get to the root cause of your health concern so that we can treat the cause not just the symptoms. Our practice is to treat the whole person. To do this, we will spend time during your first visit getting to know you – your health history, your lifestyle, your environment and your wellness goals.

Next, we conduct the appropriate physical exams and order appropriate laboratory testing. Then we create and implement a treatment plan from our broad range of therapies that addresses your particular issue and an optimal solution for you. In addition to the therapies that we provide, our treatments include education on the things that you can do to help restore and maintain your good health.

General FAQs

  1. Do we take Insurance?
  2. What happens if I miss an appointment?
  3. What happens if I need a supplement?
  4. What forms of payment do you accept?

1. Do we take Insurance?
Our office is a fee-for-service practice, meaning you pay at the time you get care. However, many of our patients are still able to use their insurance to cover all or part of their services. Prior to your first appointment it’s always a good idea to call your insurer to verify your coverage. Some may require pre-notification or pre-approval. At the end of your appointment we will provide you with an invoice that has two types of codes on it. An ICD-10 Code and a CPT code; the ICD-10 is your diagnosis from the Doctor and the CPT is the procedure or treatment received. You then take these invoices, which the insurance companies call super bills, and mail them to your insurance provider with one of your insurance forms. The address is typically on the back of your insurance card or you can call their customer service number for more detailed instruction. Most patients get 50 to 80 percent of their visit covered which means they are paying very little out-of-pocket for exceptional care.

2. What happens if I miss an appointment?
Twenty four hours notice is needed to cancel appointments. If you do not show and do not call you will be billed for the cost of the appointment.

3. What happens if I need a supplement?
If there is a product or prescription that you need please give 1-2 weeks notice if you are running out and need more. 99% of the time what you need will be in stock. Calling ahead of time will ensure that you get what you need. Around the holidays it is always a good idea to back stock those items that you need to ensure you will not run out while the doctors are away.

4. What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment is due at the time of service. We currently accept cash, check, Visa and Mastercard. If payment is not made within 30 days, your account will be charged a $25 monthly fee until payment is made.
Returned checks will be charged a $25 handling fee.
Please contact the office if you are having issue with payment for any reason. We will do our best to meet your specific needs.

Holidays

Any holiday, personal vacations, or continuing education seminars that prevent the doctors from being in the office will be posted on their individual voice mail with the exception of emergency situations.  The doctors will do their best to ensure that front office staff will return calls in their absence.  During holidays the doctors periodically check their messages.  Please call 911 in the case of an emergency.

Return Phone Calls

It is our intention to return all phone calls as soon as possible.  You should expect a call back before the end of the following business day.  All calls will be placed in order of priority.  If it is necessary that you speak to the doctor please schedule a phone consultation; otherwise leave your question with the front office staff and they will have your question answered and get back to you as soon as possible. If no one answers the phone during normal business hours, we are assisting another patient and will call you back as soon as possible.
